- Caoba, a tropical hardwood with a full canopy.

- Guanabana, a Soursop fruit bearing tree. Anti Cancer Fruit!

-  Jacaranda, a true tropical that will amaze you when the heat strikes and the tree flourishes.

- Cassia, the shade tree must used by the Mexicans for dense shade, hardy and drought resistant.

- Ironwood, or Palo Fiero, an endemic that grows slowly but can live on very little water.
